Now is the Time...


       ...to book your hotel room, make travel arrangments, figure out timing...ect. Only 12 out of 60 people have confirmed that they have made their hotel and travel arrangments.  With slightly over 4 months to go, it is a good time to get everything you need for the meetup taken care of. Prices for flights are still low, hotel rooms are still open for booking, people are still looking for carpools. If you are coming from overseas, it is even more important that you figure out your details, such as visas and passports. Attendee Info is located here. T-Shirt Design!

       We are planning on producing t-shirts for the meetup, and we would like you to help design the shirt.

AvatarMeet 2012 Attendance Passes 60

       AvatarMeet 2012 is now only a little more than 4 months away. As of right now, there are 60 people signed up for the meetup from 8 different countries. To see more information go here. To sign-up for the meetup or change your info go here.

       Events at the meetup are starting to be finalized, and will be added to the event calendar. Watch for updates and events on the forums and on the event calendar.

Camping Updates

       We have reserved the group campsite for the pre-meetup camping trip at the Sol Duc campsite in the Olympic National Park. This minor step confirms the camping trip is a go, and if you haven't already already signed up on AvatarMeet.com to attend the camping trip, now is the time to do so! Space is limited to 24 at the group campsite which is about a mile from the rest of the facilities & camping areas at Sol Duc; as of March 2nd, we only have 10 spaces left at the group campsite! Get me on a Shuttle Tonight

       For the camping trip, to help people get from Sea-Tac Airport to the campsite a shuttle bus has been booked. This will depart at approximately 17:00 (5pm) from the airport, although there will be a bit of flexibility.  It will then transport people from the campsite to Seattle (Best Western Excutive Inn Hotel) in time for AvatarMeet 2012 on 19th July.  The cost is $30 each way.  For more information go here.
