AvatarMeet.com is a website with one simple goal: To facilitate and organize gatherings of fans of the movie James Cameron's Avatar.
We aren't affiliated in any way with James Cameron, Fox, Lightstorm Entertainment, etc... We are simply a group of avid fans who like to get together and celebrate the film.
The website came about following the first two meetups in 2011. Each meetup was organized primarily on a (different) Avatar fan forum in an ad-hock manner. The website's goal, combined with our newsletter, is to provide a single point of information about the events.
The website is laid out so as to archive the previous events for reference, especially when it comes to photos and video from the events. Across the top you'll find tabs for each event, which will then bring up a menu down the side of topics for that event. As future events draw near, their sections will grow to facilitate new information. So check back often!
